Description
Robert Half Direct is seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician to help maintain Electronic Healthcare Record software (Avatar by Netsmart) used within the supported agencies for one of our confidential clients. This position is onsite at our client's office.Responsibilities include:- Act as a Liaison between the user and the Information Technology Department
- Provide technical support to users experiencing software problems via phone or video support
- Address EHR errors and corrections which can include computer hardware, software and peripheral devices for PCs and other IT Department equipment
- Track and follow-up on support tickets in the Service Desk solution
- Assist with the tech and network teams
- Perform data entry work, which includes data entry building and modifications in the Avatar EHR system, FASAMS State Reporting support and other special data projects
- Work closely with all staff to assure accurate and timely submission of state data requirements
- Compile, edit, and correct any Outcomes data as assigned by the IT EHR System Support Manager
- Must be knowledge of computer hardware and software including Windows 10 in a domain environment
- Work experience with IT support is a plus
- Knowledge of clinical operations is a plus
- Ability to solve computer problems with available technical hardware and skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, staff, and external contacts
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and make the best possible solution
- Ability to properly document processes and inventory and keep them up to date
- Self-motivated and with the ability to produce a high volume of detailed data entry with speed and accuracy
- Excellent customer service skillset, patience, listening skills, organizational and prioritization talent
- Some outside support and/or travel may be required
- Participate in an afterhours on call rotation
