RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.

Duties: Security - plan for both known and unknown cyber risks to the organization and implement mitigations to prevent or reliably recover from disruptions or security events Users - ensure best practices for hardware, software and user procedures including proactive training for secure, efficient use of all resources Recovery - maintain multi-level and multi-location backup systems and ensure their proper and secure operation and isolation including recovery verification Systems - assemble, configure, install, integrate, and maintain operating systems, application software and databases for use in Windows server, Linux server, vSphere, and Kubernetes Infrastructure - establish and maintain secure and reliable networks, power, environments, cabling, configurations, and related technologies for the global tech infrastructure Communications - Oversee the configuration, maintenance and security of LAN, WAN, internet, VoIP, video conference, mobile phone and other communications mediums and related equipment in web, mobile and networked environments Reliability - maintain high system uptime and performance through monitoring, tuning, high availability methods and best practices Research - review and recommend software and equipment for technical initiatives along with solution objectives, security review and implementation plans Updates - keep all technology current with updates for software/firmware or replacement as needed to maintain security and proper operation Vendors - maintain technical vendor relationships for IT and other needs of the organization in support of company technology Maintain internal diagrams and procedures documentation to indicate both prior and current status of all technology under management Travel domestically and internationally occasionally for up to 2 weeks at a time

REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent real-world experience to handle all duties Training and/or certifications in areas of Cyber Security (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, SANS Institute/GIAC) Real-world experience with security tools and practices, networks, routing, protocols, internet operations and related technologies Experience securing and maintaining Windows Server and AD, RH Linux, Kubernetes Strong vSphere v7.x experience including vCenter, ESXi, iSCSI SAN in a production 24x7 environment Microsoft 365 management for email and Teams with an emphasis on anti-malware and anti-phishing configurations and response Solid experience with managing object-based firewall configurations (nat, rules, protocols, vpns, etc.) Ability to oversee relationships with external technology vendors for implementation and support of products and services Ability to use PowerShell, Bash, and others with light programming skills to monitor and manage systems plus MS Office and Visio to perform daily tasks Must have a customer service attitude while security is always top of mind Ability to learn new technologies quickly and with sufficient depth and quality to bring them into a secure production environment Self-starter, working both independently and in teams, reliable, good communicator, intuitive, problem solver and timely
