Job Description - Full Stack PHP Developer - Remote
An ICS financial services client is seeking a senior Full Stack PHP developer to join their team direct hire. This client is located in South Florida although the position can sit 100% remotely. Applicants must have experience working in Enterprise environments and hands on, in depth experience coding in PHP AND Angular OR React. WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Building clean, scalable, PHP (Laravel) application.
- Designing, implementing and maintaining existing and new applications.
- Improve the performance, stability and overall quality of our platform.
- Partner with product managers and QAs to ensure workflow and systems are able to support product requirements and business goals.
- Partner with other software engineers and create rapid prototypes
- 8+ years of software development experience working on backend applications
- 6+ years of experience on PHP and Laravel
- MySQL or Postgres database experience
- AWS or other cloud experience is highly preferred
- An ability to demonstrate superior understanding of software development fundamentals
- Knowledge and experience developing large scale distributed applications
- Knowledge and experience fine tuning applications to support consumer-facing applications
- Knowledge and experience scaling and operationalize applications to support international markets
- Knowledge with modern integration design patterns, architectural designs and best practices
- Experience with CD/CI tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, or Terraform
- Experience working in an organization that runs an Agile process
- Some kind of Frontend Framework experience required (Angular, Vue, React) - minimum JQuery
- Experience with Bootstrap 3 & 4
