Description We are seeking a Construction based Accounts Payable Clerk to become an integral part of our team. Located in Sanford, Florida, this role involves maintaining and reconciling account balances, processing invoices, and managing accounts payable in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities: Handle the processing of invoices and ensure they are correctly coded. Manage and maintain accurate records of the accounts payable. Execute check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments. Conduct account reconciliation activities to keep accounts up-to-date. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry tasks. Maintain a clear understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices. Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner. Monitor customer accounts and take action as needed. Ensure that all financial data is handled with accuracy and confidentiality. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures. Experience with account reconciliation is required. Knowledge of Check Runs and Coding Invoices is necessary. Proficient in data entry and invoice processing. Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks is desired. Experience with SAP is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of accuracy and efficiency in work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgement calls. Ability to handle high volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
