POSITION SUMMARY:
This position has primary responsibility for the operation and maintenance of properties and equipment owned and operated by SMR/BRU and miscellaneous tasks as they occur.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Install, maintain and coordinate taking flow meter readings and complete data for BRU.
Provide & coordinate utility locates as required by FL Sunshine Services.
Install and record pressure recorders in areas requested.
Maintain and blow off BRU main lines periodically.
Maintain BRU pump station and well site properties.
Take required water samples and provide results to appropriate agencies.
Assist management with BRU issues and questions by residents and commercial POA’s.
Ensure company safety guidelines are followed.
Oversee maintenance of company and rental equipment, keep maintenance records, and ensure safe storage of company equipment.
Implement repairs as required, perform in-house and outsource for major work.
On call after hours
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge and application of industrial electrical, plumbing and pipe fitting.
Knowledge and operation of pump stations, well pump systems and water delivery infrastructure.
Prior experience with a variety of maintenance tasks.
Knowledge to utilize the proper equipment to perform the required task.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Good public relations and communication skills.
Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Valid Florida driver’s license
