Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Help Desk Analyst I located in Sarasota, Florida. In this role, you will be working in a dynamic industry where you will be responsible for tasks such as hardware or software installation, troubleshooting, training, and other tasks as requested. You will also perform root cause analysis and develop knowledge base articles for typical problems while providing technical advice, guidance, and informal training to customers.Responsibilities: Provide onsite support which may include hardware or software installation, troubleshooting, training, or other tasks as requested Troubleshoot and restore technical service and equipment problems by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures Enter all incoming incidents and service requests into the system, documenting detailed and accurate troubleshooting steps and instructions Maintain continual communication with clients throughout the support experience Provide technical advice, guidance, and informal training to customers using hardware and software programs Perform equipment configuration, set-up, installation, and instruction as needed Perform root cause analysis and develop knowledge base articles for typical problems Recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention Document all changes to customer systems by updating documentation when needed Utilize skills such as Hardware & Software Installation, Troubleshooting, Basic Troubleshooting, and Equipment Installation. Requirements Proficient in hardware and software installation Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively Basic troubleshooting skills are required Experience in equipment installation is necessary Familiarity with managing service desk tickets Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team and independently Must possess strong problem-solving capabilities High level of attention to detail Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Experience in a similar role would be advantageous Knowledge of relevant IT systems and platforms High level of patience and ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users Must abide by company's data privacy and security guidelines Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
