The Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, a private family-oriented club located in one of the nation's fastest growing communities, is looking to grow its team.
POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains all cutting aspects of equipment and assists in the mechanical repairs of all equipment. Performs PM on equipment and maintains accurate records of events. Must comply with all work rules and safety procedures; must insure all equipment has working safety devices as provided by the manufacturer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sharpening and setting of mowers on a daily basis
Basic PM work on all equipment including record keeping
Light repairs and maintenance on equipment, both in the shop and on the course
Assist Head Mechanic on major repairs to equipment
Assist on the course in any manor that is requested by the Superintendent
Stock and order parts as needed to maintain our fleet.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be able to meet physical demands outlined in essential functions below.
Knows and abides by all company policies and safety rules.
Must have most of own tools or willingness to purchase.
Basic mechanic skills – willing to train on equipment.
Hours for our Full-Time positions are:
Monday 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Tuesday thru Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Fridays from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
