Job Description
United Security Services Inc. is looking for experienced Security Officers to join our
team at one of our locations in Sarasota, Fl. Friday and Saturday 11pm to 7am, plus being open occasionally to help cover call outs and holidays. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE A STATE OF FLORIDA CLASS D SECURITY LICENSE.
Job Responsibilities:
Secure the safety of hotel employees, hotel guest, and the property of the Hotel.
Provide a welcoming environment and provide needed services for guests.
Patrol guest areas for suspicious activities and unauthorized people.
Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills.
Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the hotel.
Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Have a professional appearance and demeanor.
Other responsibilities may apply.
Requirements:
State of Florida Class D Security license.
Able to follow directions and orders that need to be followed during shift hours.
Able to write concise incident reports and complete daily activity reports at the end of each shift and to perform aggressive foot patrol throughout the property.
Outgoing professional personality, self motivated, well groomed, able to communicate with hotel employees, hotel guests and general public utilizing the hotel property.
Must have reliable transportation and working cell phone for scheduling purposes.
High School Diploma or GED.
1 year licensed guard experience preferred.
