Inside Sales/Marketing Specialist
We are a local, Sarasota-based restaurant and grocery liquidation company. The Inside Sales/Marketing Specialist is a full-time opportunity and will require travel to various local restaurants in order to conduct an accurate inventory and take photos. Once we have completed the inventory then we need to market the equipment.
What does a Sales/Marketing Specialist do? Here’s a quick summary:
- Prepare the sales agreement
- Arrive on location at a restaurant, grocery store, or any similar establishment that has closed or is under renovation
- Take inventory of the equipment, furnishings, and additional content
- Take photographs which be used to supplement the sales agreement as well as for ads that will be posted on Craigslist, eBay, Facebook, company website and other online destinations
- Enter equipment details into the inventory software
- Research, write, and post ads of all items for sale.
- Focus on inside sales by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers as well as factory reps.
- Prepare sales quotes and proposals for the Sales Manager
What skills should an Inside Sales/Marketing Specialist have?
- Experience using AutoQuotes (only those with AutoQuotes experience will be considered)
- A mechanical mind set
- A knowledge of restaurant equipment
- A solid understanding of natural gas, propane and electrical power options, such as phase, volts and amps
- Computer and smartphone savvy
- A good eye for taking photos, and have technical writing ability.
- Additional experience in construction and logistics is also preferred
- Organized and detail oriented
We are looking for someone that can easily and professionally interact with people from all walks of life and work cooperatively in a team atmosphere. The Sales/Marketing Specialist should also have the ability to guide and advise potential clients to the proper equipment by creatively exploring all options.
Compensation is base plus commission.
This position is not responsible for actually closing the sales since we want to close deals at the highest profit margin possible. Our Sales Manager is the closer and will field the calls and meet with customers.
