Role Description: The

Senior Systems Engineer must have at least 5+ years of experience. In this role, you will research, plan, design, implement, integrate, maintain, and support server-based systems and cloud infrastructure (physical, virtualized and cloud computing, storage area networks (SAN), Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), enterprise email, related applications, systems and peripherals) across multiple data centers and remote locations. As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will coach other system engineers while managing multiple systems and projects simultaneously. You will analyze system capacity and maximize server uptime through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and problem identification. You will provide technical leadership and guidance for the maintenance and support of the systems and cloud infrastructure to ensure continuous improvement of performance, availability, reliability, integrity and system security. Ensure the security and integrity of networks and systems. You will play a lead role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as PCI and SOX at all locations. You will direct and coordinate system engineering projects according to goals and time frames established by the Director of IT Operations. You will also ensure that project, support, and operational goals are accomplished by performing the following duties personally or through other team members.

Essential Job Functions: - Leads the continuous improvement and innovation of systems and cloud infrastructure services deployment, maintenance and support, with the goal of reducing time-to-delivery, improving operational efficiency and introducing new services - Establishes and manages the priorities, work schedules and assignments for the systems team, to ensure timely response to systems trouble tickets, meet service level agreements and to ensure systems and cloud initiatives and projects are completed on time, within budget, and within the agreed upon scope and objectives - Develops, implements, and maintains documentation, best practices, standards, policies and procedures to continuously improve the performance, availability, reliability, integrity and security of the companys IT systems and cloud infrastructure - Performs systems and cloud infrastructure operations, maintenance, support and project duties as required during non-business hours - Works with the network, server, database, and security teams to create effective monitoring, alerting, reporting, automation and capacity planning for systems and cloud infrastructure equipment, systems and applications to ensure systems and cloud performance, availability, reliability, integrity and security - Designs, manages, and monitors all daily backup and recovery solutions and strategies - Follows all operational standards for infrastructure (HW and SW) deployments, monitoring, and asset management - Develops and manages relationships with vendors in support of acquiring systems and cloud infrastructure hardware, software, maintenance and services - Oversee administration, maintenance, and configuration of all active directory services, server environments, cloud-based services, and virtualization platforms - Prepares for and participates in security audits, SOX compliance, periodic PCI reviews and closes out any open items in a timely manner - Assists the Director of IT Operations in developing and aligning the systems and cloud infrastructure strategic plan with the Companys ITs goals and objectives - Partners with the Director of IT Operations to design and manage disaster recovery and business continuity strategies and solutions - Supervises, coaches, motivates, trains and evaluates subordinate staff - Owns and elevates service delivery for all server-based systems - Other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

Qualifications and Experience: - In-depth knowledge and skills in infrastructure/systems and lifecycle methodology - Expert level Active Directory, Exchange, O365 and AWS skills are required - Extensive experience with Windows Server - Extensive experience with Enterprise class hardware and Storage Area Networks - Experience with VMware implementation and management - Familiarity with industry-standard Backup Solutions - Advanced knowledge and experience with various anti-virus, anti-spam, and content filtering systems - Advanced knowledge and experience with Access Control Systems: Ability to develop and use access controls to prevent unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, misuse, manipulation, or destruction of systems, networks, applications and data - Advanced knowledge and experience with Network Infrastructure: Ability to design, implement and document network systems to meet the current and future needs for operations - Advanced knowledge and experience with Server Infrastructure: Ability to design, implement and document server systems to meet the current and future needs including central directory services and virtualized platforms. Incorporate storage technologies to enable core business applications to be optimized and scalable - Experience with Compliance Management: Ability to plan, assess, monitor, deploy and report the state of compliance and any required mitigation and remediation activities (e.g., PCI, SOX, Data Privacy, etc.) - Advanced knowledge and experience with Monitoring Platforms: Ability to manage regular monitoring of platform and system activities, isolating problems and determining their cause. Gather data to forecast future technology needs and trends - The ability to enthusiastically work with clients both remotely and onsite - Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time - Ability to make independent decisions - Ability to work in a team environment - Great customer services and communication skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
