This position is responsible for operating assigned vehicles to transport ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher passengers to various appointments, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. The right candidate will be responsible for the safety and well-being of his or her passenger for the duration of the transport. In addition, all employees must comply with all applicable state, federal, and company policies and regulations
Candidates Must:
Live in Brevard County and have own transportation to / from work. We supply the work vehicles.
Must be 25 years of age or older to be approved by insurance company.
Must have a phone
Ideal candidates will:
- Be professional in appearance
- Have a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a drug screen
- Be able to pass a DOT physical
- Have their own smartphone and their own transportation to and from work
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick up riders at their locations for trips to their scheduled locations.
Attend to and assist all stretcher, wheelchair and ambulatory passengers in and out of the pickup/drop-off points, vehicle, and with any personal items and equipment they may have.
Adhere to field associate dress code and personal appearance policies.
Assume responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of your assigned vehicle.
Drive in a safe and responsible manner.
Required licenses or certifications:
Driver's License
We have short online training classes for the other certifications needed: cpr / first aid, Defensive Driving, PASS Basic
