- Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Creation of weekly social media content calendar for all brands
- Supporting and implementing social media strategies and campaigns to align with business goals
- Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI
- Assisting the marketing Brand Managers with content creation for multiple channels
- Repurposing content for different mediums including social media
- Working with marketing Brand Managers to create engaging content for social media
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Manage and oversee all social media advertising campaigns
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Writing clear, concise and strategic messages that drive business results
- Monitor social media campaign metrics
- Brainstorm campaign or giveaway ideas to engage audiences.
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator; 2+ years
- Hands on experience in content management and creation
- Highly organized - must be able to manage multiple brand calendars
- Excellent copy writing skills
- Strong knowledge of Content Marketing, Digital Advertising, and Social Media Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Strong knowledge of Social Media Management Platforms (Sprout, HubSpot, Planoly, Unfold)
- Effective in working under deadlines, prioritizing issues and managing concurrent assignments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to interface effectively at all levels both internally and externally
- Experience in Illustrator, Photoshop, and other adobe creative suite programs as well as emerging design tools will be considered a plus
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Office environment; no specific or unusual environmental or physical demands.
- Comply with all Health and Safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
