This organization leads the global standardization, development and maintenance of highly complex business rules supporting the Global Services Group at American Express.Searching for an experienced Business Logic Developer to join our organization and add value on the evolution of our existing capabilities built on JBPM/Java/ACE/BPMN/NoSQL and other open-source technologies.The Business Logic Developer II is responsible for global business rules development, supporting new projects, POD to POA and business as usual requests (compliance, regulatory and discretionary changes), business process automation (to drive cost efficiencies), and production system management for the Credit & in house collections platform primarily WCC/CSP/CORE and CSE(Credit Servicing Engine)Primary Responsibilities:Analyze the business process design, including business maintainable rules, for the platform.

Design, Develop and maintain the business processes and business rules as required by strategy.

Develop global processes and rules and deploy and modify for each locality.

Automate existing manual processes and strategies into new processes and rules

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure processes meet market needs and adhere to local regulatory, compliance and risk requirements.

Identify issues and risks, and delivering key change initiatives

Liaise among multiple capabilities, business, and technology teams to maintain adherence to Credit/Collection strategy

Provide recommendations to enhance Credit &Collections capabilities.

Qualifications5 years of experience in software design and development.

Knowledge on Credit and collections business and capabilities is a PLUS

Strong Knowledge on Java, Red hat PAM/JBPM, Pega (or other business rules engine) or application/rule development teams.

Strong leadership, proven communication, and relationship management skills.

Good grasp of various iterative methodologies: Agile, SAFe, Scrum, XP.

Proven self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Technologies Proficient to understand how the current systems fit with the enterprise-wide vision

Project Management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while interfacing with all levels across multiple organizations.

PC skills – Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio, Rally

Strong Knowledge on Oracle, Couchbase, SQL-server, Postman, Docker, Jenkins, Splunk
