Applications Development Analyst Tallahassee, FL Day 1 Onsite Role No Remote Long Term Contract The Agency of Healthcare Administration Primary Job Duties and Tasks Work with technology team members, business units, and contractors for the express purpose of implementing Financial Business Systems enhancements and integrating to a new Enterprise Financial Business solution. Maintain current Financial Business Systems and support high-priority requests as needed. Develop software applications in conformances with the adopted AHCA methodologies, standards, and practices. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Participate in component and data architecture design and performance monitoring. Review and confirm understanding of the interface layouts for agency's business needs, and completes interface design, build, and unit test activities. Develop and execute software test plans. Develop software and application documentation conforming to AHCA standards. Participate as directed in activities under the direction of an AHCA IT Project Sponsorship, including the respective IT Team Lead and stakeholders. Create and maintain acceptance and production code migration scripts for all web and client server projects. Work on pipeline and release processes using Azure DevOps. Create and manage SQL queries and analyze data to respond to ad hoc requests, troubleshoot, test, or investigate anomalies. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A minimum of 1 year of systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance and integration experience. Knowledge in developing solutions requiring analysis and research. Ability to work on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments. Skilled in working on one or more projects as a project team member Preferred experience working with State of Florida financial systems and governmental accounting, including AHCA's SunFocus and DFS' Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) and Florida Planning Accounting and Ledger Management (PALM) systems.
