Position SummaryFinxact, a Fiserv Company is looking for an innovative and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor within the Development team working to continuously improve our code, build, deployment, and operations to enable our suite of applications and services.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe types of activities expected to be performed at this level include but are not limited to:

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines including automated build and deployments to target
environments and ongoing optimization
Use cloud automation technologies including Gitlab, Docker, and Helm to deploy to containerized environments including Kubernetes
Integrate open-source components within the application infrastructure
Incorporate automated tests and security scans into the CI/CD pipeline
Participate in ongoing maintenance of cloud environments, applications, and tools
Continually improve DevOps tools, processes, and procedures
Promote DevOps across functional teams and disciplines through collaboration, tooling, and practices
Establish the next generation of cloud-native technologies

Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Hands on Kubernetes experience
Experience with cloud providers including Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or Cloud Formation)
Excellent knowledge of Linux technologies is preferred
3+ years managing configuration, build and deployments for enterprise software solutions
Experience with container systems and container orchestration
Experience with code repositories (Git), continuous integration tools (Gitlab)
Professional experience automating cloud platform configuration, build and deployments is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices is a plus
Experience working with a cross-functional team
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong understanding of network fundamentals

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary but generally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.
