- Four (4) years or more of experience as a program designer and implementer.
- Four (4) years or more of experience with the operation and maintenance of enterprise applications including working knowledge of the following: JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Node, React, JSON, and Git. 6. Preferred: Experience with Elixir, Functional Programming, and PL/SQL.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals including, but not limited to, the following: executives, managers, and subject matter experts. 9. Possess excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to write complex reports, plans, and briefings.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Understand Department requirements under chapter 282, Florida Statutes.
- Understand how to maintain the confidentiality of records in accordance with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, and Department policy.
- Programming expertise in the following computer languages: JAVA, PHP, AJAX, REST (Representational State Transfer), XML (Extensible Markup Language), XHTML (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language), UNIX (computer operating system), LINUX (computer operating system), SUN Solaris Administration, C, C, Perl, Ruby on Rails, Nginx, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Graphics, PL/SQL, jQuery, JavaScript (JS), BootStrap, CSS, ReactJS, RequireJS, SQL, Node,
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Or equivalent work experience.
- Typically has 2 to 5 years of programming/systems analysis experience.
