job summary:
We have an immediate need for an IT Technical Architect for an opening here in Tallahassee FL. If you have a background in infrastructure, the ability to demonstrate systems thinking, and solid skills in creating technical requirements and documentation, we'd like to hear from you.Requirements- Four year degree or greater and a minimum of five years' experience as an Enterprise Architect.
- Experience assessing and identifying departmental opportunities associated with the use of technology/automation.
- Experience influencing IS and Operational Leadership with respect to process improvement and change management.
- Experience writing technical specifications and technical documentation associated with technology infrastructure and application deployments.
- Ability to demonstrate systems thinking.
- Demonstrable experience in IT industry standards, services, design, architecture principles design, architecture views and viewpoint design, building block design, solutions modelling and systems behavior.
- Good experience of IT Architecture (and underlying frameworks such as TOGAF and SOA) including the development (and ensuring adherence to) architecture principles and standards.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies including web applications, portals, messaging and integration, desktop/server/storage/application platforms, network infrastructure, security technologies, etc.
- Proficient in methods and techniques for structured reviews, including reviews of non-functional requirements, technical documents, test plans, business cases and other key deliverables
