The Software Engineering Lifecycle Management Leader will also collaborate with other engineering teams, infrastructure and operations, security, business units, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination of software engineering activities and deliverables.The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in process/industrial engineering, engineering operations, project management, and quality assurance. The candidate should also have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired:

15+ years of application development leadership experience that includes:

Direct management of complex budgets in excess of $5M+ annual direct and indirect costs

Direct management of cross functional, sourced, or matrixed teams

Graduate degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering or related field

Preferred:

Demonstrated success leading large-scale initiatives/transformations

Proven management experience in strategic planning and budgeting within one or more business groups

Experience with and knowledge of IT outsourcing activities in a managed services environment

Proven management experience in application development across waterfall and agile environments.

Good process management, negotiating, influencing and problem resolution skills

Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Knowledge of business environment, service requirements and hospitality culture

Masters degree from an accredited college/university preferably MBA, Masters of Computer Science, Organizational Development; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, decide and influence appropriate courses of action

Ability to understand and communicate the lifecycle of technologies and applications and to translate into business strategies for the client organizations

Solid understanding of IT financial structures and ability to manage to corporate financial processes and standards - including drivers of process costs

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy to understand business terms

Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls and leading in a managed service environment

CORE WORK ACTIVITIESEngineering Excellence:

Manage the engineering build process, ensuring that every integration is planned and controlled, and that the engineering standards and best practices are followed

Manage the path to production, ensuring that the version and change management processes are implemented and executed, and that the engineering products are delivered on time and within budget

Manage the release train methodology, ensuring that the engineering projects are aligned with the business strategy and objectives, and that the engineering teams are working in sync and delivering value

Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies, ensuring that the engineering operations are up to date and aligned with the industry trends and best practices

Cross Organization Collaboration:

Support the integration of configuration and change management into development processes, ensuring that the configuration and change processes and tools are operationalized and integrated across the engineering organization, and that the value, visibility, and communication are enhanced

Provide visibility of the software development lifecycle, ensuring that the progress of development and quality are tracked and reported, and that the data-driven insights and feedback are leveraged for improvement

Liaise with cross-engineering teams and other business units, ensuring that the engineering operations are coordinated and harmonized, and that the collaboration and process-improvement activities are supported and facilitated

Develop, train, and mentor cross-organization on engineering operations methodologies, ensuring that the organization has the skills, knowledge, and resources in support of transformation initiatives

DevSecOps Strategy and Integration:

Lead the integration of configuration and change management disciplines into the development process, ensuring that the configuration and change processes and tools are operationalized and integrated across the engineering organization, and that the value, visibility, and communication are enhanced

Collaborate on implementation planning and help drive the rollout of next-generation DevSecOps pipeline across IT organization.

Support the roadmap, growth, and development of additional DevSecOps integrations and controls supporting a streamlined SDLC Process.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $180,088.00 to $256,215 annually.Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $168,523 to $241,997 annually.Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $162.754 to $234,545.00 annually.New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $195,088.00 to $263,923.00 annually.Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $180,088.00 to $256,215 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants.
