We are currently seeking a Senior IV&V Security Analyst to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).

The Senior IV&V Security Analyst will work to ensure that the client's business needs are met by assessing project artifacts against the client's requirements as well as providing valuable business subject matter expertise through consultation with the client. The candidate will perform security independent verification and validation (IV&V) tasks by collecting and analyzing information to ensure requirements and business needs are met during the implementation of a new modular MMIS enterprise. The candidate will work directly with the contracted vendors, business users and the client to provide recommendations to the project team on project issues, risks and observations. In addition, the candidate will provide valuable business and security subject matter expertise through consultation with the client.• Assess technical compliance of systems with specified requirements as well as CMS Conditions and Standards• Review DDI contractor deliverables and processes for quality, completeness and security adherence• Review and make written recommendations for data sharing activities and database design activities to ensure data integrity• Provide leadership in MARS-E (Minimum Acceptable Risk Standards) and Security Audits that occur during the project• Develop, maintain, and monitor an effective compliance and risk management program to meet the guidelines of CMS, Medicaid, HIPAA/PII• Research and provide recommendations to the client on critical business decisions

Mandatory Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience• A fundamental understanding of the basic concepts of security and privacy as demonstrated by at least five years working directly in information security roles• Minimum of two years' experience with the ability to explain MARS-E or NIST 800-53 controls in simple language to non-security people.• Minimum of two years' experience creating or contributing to system security plans (SSP's), preferably in a CMS or healthcare environment.• Minimum of two years' experience working with protected health information (PHI)• Minimum of two years' experience conducting or contributing to information risk assessments (800-30 preferred)• Minimum of two years' experience working in a vulnerability management programs.• Minimum of two years' experience writing/reviewing policies and procedures in a regulated environment.• Minimum of four years' work experience on a modular approach to Medicaid systems• Minimum of two years' experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management knowledge and experience

Preferred Qualifications:• Understand CMS Conditions and Standard• Experience providing evaluation services and project auditing, Human Services or Healthcare IT industry preferred• Experience performing IV&V services for large system implementation, integration, or development project• Experience performing project management for large system implementation, integration, or development project• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other applicable professional certification• CISSP certification• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy and security laws, regulations, and corresponding practices• Experience establishing and maintaining privacy and security compliance in a health-related setting• Familiarity with government standards and practices relating to the proper handling of personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI)• Understand standard Medicaid and / or Eligibility system architectures, networks, and data exchange formats• Experience working on large, complex systems projects• Experience in providing security services and data auditing, in Human Services or Healthcare IT industry
