The candidate will require in depth knowledge of process architecture, documentation, and analysis. The role requires designing and maintaining taxonomies for business capabilities and processes in a BPMN design tool (i.e., Mega HOPEX) as the central repository for process related information. The Business Architect Associate will engage with partners at various levels in the organization to promote the capabilities of the Process Excellence COE and enable wide-spread adoption of the process modeling design tool to build a blueprint of the origination's business processes. The COE will play a direct role in enabling large scale multi-year transformation to modernize core systems and applications. Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish frameworks for capabilities and processes in collaboration with control groups
  • Define process hierarchy and ensure process models align to standards
  • Provide input to Quality Assurance team members on checklist items to ensure data is fit for intended use
  • Coordinate changes required to taxonomies and hierarchies to ensure alignment between golden source systems of key process metadata
  • Experience with BPMN 2.0 standards
  • Define track and report on KIPIs for performance of the COE and implement action plans to improve critical metrics that are below target
  • Develop and deliver clear and concise, high quality presentations to partners and senior leadership that provides the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience
  • Establish strong working relationships with key partners at various levels throughout the organization
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; advances appropriately

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with master's or equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Experience in applying process improvement methodologies in process improvement / transformation project or initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, PDCA, etc.) - certification is a plus
  • Experience with BPMN 2.0
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to prioritize, own and drive projects, and quickly learn new concepts and frameworks
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with the appropriate initiative-taking and problem-solving, even in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and process modeling tools (e.g., ARIS, Signavio, Mega HOPEX)
  • Familiarity with business architecture frameworks and concepts helpful
  • Experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations preferred
