The Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Solution Architect is responsible for the design, delivery, and implementation of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) infrastructure and solutions. You will work with cloud partners and other internal groups to evaluate supporting new technologies and industry specific use cases based on client needs. Using Google Cloud Platform public cloud technologies, you will define and implement state-of-the-art, scalable, high-performance solutions (i.e. AI/ML, IoT, advanced analytics, open-source, enterprise collaboration, microservices, serverless) that meet the need of today’s corporate and emerging digital applications.Provide Subject Matter Expertise in cloud and hybrid-cloud computing with Google Cloud and related products; thereby becoming a trusted advisor to influential decision-makers.Provide end-to-end technical guidance and expertise on how to effectively use Google Cloud to build solutions for prospects; creatively applying cloud infrastructure and platform services to help solve business problems, and communicating these approaches to different business audiences in designated industries.Design and implement Google solution architecture with the different products like Google App Engine, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine, AutoML in discussions with prospective clients, assess architecture needs for projects, work with Development leads and Designers to scope and craft proposals.Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, implementation, testing, customer training, and deployment of open source solutions.Work to harvest best practices and document lessons learned as part of the continuous improvement of our offerings.Explore and develop new technical skills, absorbing professional knowledge quickly.At least 3 years experience on Google cloud with deep understanding, design, and development experience with Google Cloud Platform products on Infrastructure, Data management, Application Development, Smart Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Security and DevOps Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) & Big Data Tools: BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Proc, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Google Data Studio.Lead cloud solution and scoping to generate estimates and approaches for proposals with Google.Lead the discussions and early analysis of the cloud concepts as it relates to Verizon Journey to Cloud methodology so that clear use cases are developed and prioritized as well as transitioning these concepts from ideas to proofs-of-concept with the full support of the appropriate teams. Assess the full technology stack of services required including PaaS (Platform-as-a-service), IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-service), SaaS (software as-a-service), operations, management and automation.Conduct full technical discovery, identifying pain points, business, and technical requirements, “as is” and “to be” scenarios.Compare solution alternatives across both technical and business parameters which support the defined cost and service requirements.Design and implement Google solution architecture with the different products like Google App Engine, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine, AutoML in discussions with prospective clients, assess architecture needs for projects, work with Development leads and Designers to scope and craft proposals.
