Location: Tampa, FL Description: Our client is currently seeking a Infrastructure Engineer (Kubernetes / Linux)
MUST BE A THAT CAN WORK ON JUDGES W2- Each member of the team needs to be a jack of all trades type skilled or, at least knowledgeable, in numerous different areas and technologies.
- It is more or less an infrastructure engineer role in a plan, build, operate environment.
- At its core, Linux and Kubernetes experience are hands down the most important skill sets.
- Resource must have strong Kubernetes and, must have strong Linux, with knowledge in the rest of the technologies but not to an SME level.
- In general, the resource will be supporting VMWare ESX infrastructure, Linux infrastructure and Windows infrastructure (boil it down roughly 80% Linux / 20% Windows)
- The team is increasingly moving to containerization which is why this particular resource needs to have very strong Kubernetes experience, as well as Docker
- The team is also starting to get heavy into automation so experience with Python and Ansible are big pluses but, that doesn't need to be this person's area of expertise.
- If they don't have this experience, they'll be taught on the job
- Linux and Kubernetes SME to perform Plan, Build and Operate functions supporting public sector lockbox application.
- Will be doing scripting, troubleshooting and hygiene work on Linux within Kubernetes and some vSphere ESX and windows operations as well.
