This Lead IT Governance and Process Improvement Specialist in the IT Risk Management CoE will be responsible for operating various IT wide risk & control processes as well as participate is the creation of key IT wide risk management reports.

What You'll Do
  • IT PRC Event Review: Perform review of IT owned Incidents, Issues, and Policy Deviations to align them to the capability responsible for adherence to control and design of control based on the IT Process Risk and Control framework.
  • Risk Treatment: Coordinate a process to ensure that IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity Services, IT Architecture, and appropriate IT SME review proposed risk treatments, i.e., request for policy deviations, self-identified issues, and risk acceptances.
  • IT Wide Issues: Participate in processes to address IT wide issues.
  • Key reports: Participate in the creation of quarterly IT Risk Profile reports, annual IT Risk Tolerance Statement, quarterly IT Risk Tolerance Dashboard updates, and quarterly report as efforts to address Thematic Area of Focus identified to contribute to IT risk.

Talents Needed
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in technology, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in risk and control or audit professional role, preferably within a Big 4 accounting firm or financial services industry, or equivalent
  • Experience assessing risk and controls, and identifying issues
  • Experience coordinating risk treatments for identified issues
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Ability to partner with technical subject matter experts, all levels of management, and the members of the Second and Third Lines of Defense
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter, who can set priorities, take initiative and work both independently and proactively in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and be flexible as a member of a small team that must balance handling multiple priorities at any given time
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • Process mapping, data collection, and analysis skills preferred
  • Technology background preferred
  • Knowledge of the security markets, post-trade processing and clearing and settlement infrastructure preferred
