Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Application Support Analyst for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in Tampa, FL. This is an L2 production support role who will be part of a bigger team supporting globally. Required Skills:
- 5-8 years experience in an Application Support role.
- Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
- Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
- Strong Technical skills must include (but not limited): Unix, SQL, J2EE Web and App servers like Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic, IHS, Connect Direct, shell scripting
- Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Issue tracking and reporting using tools
- Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.
- Good all-round technical skills
- Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
