"Major Global Bank is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the IT Business Analyst position in Global Spread Products Technology (GSP) organization. Global Spread Products (GSP) is a 5 billion dollar business within Major Global Bank that is spread across North America, Europe & the Middle East, and Asia. This business trades a wide variety of products which include Corporates, Municipals, Mortgages, Short Term, Structured Transaction, Banking as well as New Issues.This individual's primary area of focus will be GSP's E-trading team, where they will partner closely with our application development teams and product management team to manage our book of work and drive our technology strategy. The business analyst will also work closely with front office users to capture business requirements and define forward thinking solutions which drive competitive advantage and enable our business to be the best for our clients. The IT Business Analyst is a junior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to drive efficiency in the execution of our technology strategy via excellent communication, analytical problem solving and project management skills.Responsibilities:• Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions• Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information• Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational support• Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Major Global Bank, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:• Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication• Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail Education:• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience 150481 Please see our complete list of jobs at:www.rmscorp.comVacancy expired!
