Duration: 10 Months Contract (with possible extension)

Primary Skills: Data Analysis

Role Description: The

Data Analyst must have at least 5+ years of experience. As part of System of Insights data management and governance team, this position is responsible for:- Developing strategies for effective data analysis- Detailed analysis of data stored in Teradata and Hadoop platforms- Profiling of data attributes coverage, quality, source and lineage information and documentation of metadata into standard templates- Work with IT teams to groom user stories and implementing quality improvement and governance processes.

Job Duties: - Need to accomplish end to end build of data profiling, data analysis, metadata creation and presentation, user story grooming.- Works on problems of moderate and varied complexity where analysis of data may require adaptation of standardized practices. - Works with management to prioritize business and information needs.

Must Have Skills: - The ability to analyze, model and interpret data.- Strong SQL and relational database skills- Knowledge of data quality and governance processes- Presentation skills

Desired Skills: - Problem-solving skills.- A methodical and logical approach.- The ability to plan work and meet deadlines- Accuracy and attention to detail- Knowledge of Big data

Education/Certifications: - BS or equivalent work experience

Required Shift: - Standard 9-5

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis
