DEVOPS TOOLS ANALYST Team/Function OverviewThis is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work in the Global Functions Technology Engineering and Architecture Practice (EAP) Developer Services function.The Sector has set an ambitious goal to standardize ALM architecture globally and invest in the latest technology that improves productivity, application lifecycle management, and security.Aligned to that is the need to deliver automation capabilities into the Secure Software Development Lifecycle that speeds the time to market for application development, whilst at the same time increasing the quality of the software produced.As part of Application Lifecycle Automation developer services team, you will play a key role in achieving that goal.The team works side-by-side with Development Teams and Engineering in providing tooling strategy, technical support and on-boarding of new applications to strategic ALM Tools.
Role / Position OverviewThis role is focused on supporting and maturing the global strategy for Application Development tools for Global Functions Technology , a global technology organization comprising approximately 9,000 developers and related disciplines, which designs and develops enterprise technology solutions used across the whole of Client.This technical role requires an understanding of Team Foundation Server and JIRA Project templates, template management and editing plus work item management. Knowledge of supporting tools such as SonarQube is advantageous.The role is responsible for driving adoption of strategic tools and tool migrations across the organization.Experience of supporting diverse technologies and development teams across a global enterprise organization is crucial.It will be the responsibility of the successful candidate to deliver solutions and assist GFT development Teams in technology migration projects e.g. TFS ? JIRA platforms.Key Responsibilities:As a member of the Developer Services team you will build and roll out Major Global Bank's key pipeline technology.
