Role 1: Java FSD Location: Tampa, FL / Chicago, IL / Plano, TX / Newark, NJ (Remote until Apr 2022) FTE Only As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of a cross-functional team responsible for the end-to-end, full stack development of the application. While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills, as well as proven track record of application development with skills in Java, distributed cache technology and building scalable robust systems. In return you will have opportunity to gain exposure to designing, developing and deploying applications to the internal/external cloud. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages; Java Java development experience with knowledge of Java 1.7 and 1.8 features Spring Framework RESTful micro services Cloud development BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental toolsets Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals Role 2: Java FSD with Kafka exp. Location: Morrisville, NC - Strictly Onsite from Apr 2022 Long Term contract Exp.: 8+ years Panel Availability - 8 to 10 AM EST and 2 to 5 PM EST Everyday Sr. Java Developer with hands-on Kafka experience
- Sr. Developer 8+ years Java FSD mainly back end, for frontend - Angular is preferred
- Java 8 or higher
- Spring 5.0 or Spring boot 2.0+
- Experience with Rest controllers in Spring
- Oracle SQL DB experience in: creating queries, structure, manage tables
- Messaging/streaming experience: Kafka
- Cloud Experience
- Plus: Experience in projects with Angular 5+ UI and Spring
- Plus: Spring integration and/or batch
