Position: QA AnalystLocation: Tampa FL (Currently Remote until client goes back to office)Duration: Long Term Skills:
QA; SQL; RESTAPI, Web testing, Looking for someone with experience in REST API and backend testing validation (SQL queries, ETL jobs, etc.). This team works with several different smaller internal applications, and those applications interface with other internal applications (including AS400). There will be online validation as well. Requirements: Attends and participates in all team meetings, including daily Stand up meetings, Grooming meetings, etc. Participates in test planning & estimation of assigned tasks. Sets up release test folders. Analyzes requirements and other available information to write test conditions, scenarios &leading high-level Test Scenarios review with team. Writes clear test cases with test steps (using shared steps and parameters when applicable)and expected results, based on the high-level test scenarios. Performs test execution – functional, integration, system, regression testing &documents test results. Documents and effectively communicates issues found during test execution in a timely manner. Verifies defect fixes for resolution through to closure. Communicates any impediments of assigned tasks to the team in a timely manner. Writes documentation - Test Plans, Test Summaries, Test Reports, etc. Gathers metrics. Adheres to company TCoP (Testing Community of Practice) procedures to ensure best practices for metrics reporting and positive project outcomes. Willingness to cross train in other company applications to gain knowledge and assist other teams when necessary. Understands Agile & Waterfall methodologies. Familiar with CMM Soft Skills. Has solid verbal and written communication skills. Has worked closely with project Quality Assurance Analysts, Developers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters and/or Project Managers, and QA Test Manager. Is a team player, but also has the ability to work independently. Isself-motivated. Willingness to learn new products and processes. Seeks out solutions. Has strong Organizational Skills. Performs other tasks as assigned. Industry: • Healthcare or • Health insurance or • Pharmacy experience Platforms/ Technical: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA • Experience in Rest API and webtesting • Experience with Azure Dev Ops - ADO (aka VSTS) • College degree and/or Development experience Additional Technical Knowledge for this position: Strong in data base concepts capable ofcreating and run data base queries in SQL required.
