64464BRJob Title:Mgr, CreditLocation:Performance Tampa (0660)Job Description:The Credit Manager position will perform the following duties:Responsible for leading a small team in working with customers from Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to process credit applications, collect account receivables, manage, and resolve deductions and handle other credit and collections as well as seeing that cash received and issued is accurately accounted for and posted to the appropriate accounts.

Responsible for recommending changes to credit levels based on assessments of current book of business, markets, and customer requests.

Conduct and oversee team’s assessments of credit worthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing customer financials, bank and trade references, market news and using credit reports such as D&B and Experion.

Guide and counsel team members through the process of making good credit assessments.

Monitor and guide team in reviewing current accounts on a regular basis looking for changes in their credit worthiness.

Provide updates and recommendations on existing and potential customer s to internal stakeholders ensuring all levels of management know the exposure of customers current debt level and future risk of upcoming potential sales or write-offs.

Monitor and guide team in monitoring those accounts that are past due, finding creative ways to bring them back into compliance.

Teach team members tool of the trade in accomplishing retrieval of past due accounts.

Provide statistics and reports on customers to CFO to define key metrics and performance indicators for success and establish the correct KPIs to enable tracking and reporting of performance.

Maintain and utilize thorough knowledge of department practices, company policies, and current information systems to comply with periodic audits.

Actively participate in the NACM industry trade credit group for Foodservice attending quarterly meetings, networking, and interacting within the credit forums.

Demonstrates a strong service quality commitment through personal example and ensures that all associates understand their individual roles in meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

Performs other related duties as assigned by CFO or Senior Staff.
