RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking an Operations Analyst in Tampa, FL.
Summary:The Operations Analyst will be a Data Governance professional that provides front line business unit support by managing data within an assigned area of responsibility while ensuring the highest level of data quality, integrity, privacy, availability, security, and usability. Ensures and certifies data is fit for use in accordance with published data governance standards.Responsibilities Operations Analyst works with business to document key business metadata including data definitions; Rules; Lineage; Data lifecycle; Security; Privacy; And process information Collaborates with other departments to ensure data consistency and quality in business processing Prepares/maintains documentation related to data governance tasks/activities, compiles reports on metrics and conducts benchmarking to identify trends and patterns Guides the area needs for information sources & data use; Operations Analyst assists business users to ensure appropriate use & governance of data Helps drive resolution of data, information and processing challenges adversely impacting the operational environment and/or business performance; Assists with decision making to resolve conflicting points of view re: data use Operations Analyst continually assesses opportunities for data quality improvement, while identifying issues, root causes and remediesREQUIREMENTS: BA/BS Computer Science/Business/MIS (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education); Masters a plus 3+ years of health care experience working within or supporting a business operations area; Managed Care and/or Medicare Advantage experience preferred 1-3 years of active data governance experience Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong written and oral communication skills; Experience documenting business requirements, business use cases and user acceptance test cases Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Experience using SQL, SAS; Power BI, Tableau, Python experience a plus Working understanding of data modeling, data warehouse, relational databasesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
