Project Manager: Tampa, FL

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and publish Project Charters and Project Plans
  • Produce, publish and obtain agreement on task lists, including task ownership and task timelines Track project issues and risks, escalating appropriately
  • Obtain updates from all project participants and cover the plans at the calls with a special focus on upcoming milestones, missed dates and project risks.
  • Create dashboards, presentations and write ups with project updates to project sponsors, and other stakeholders
  • Organize project meetings and ensure appropriate documents are prepared and updated for these meetings.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide analysis for senior management to make decisions
  • Gather, analyze, document and validate requirements – create BRDs - using recognized Business Analysis techniques (data analysis, process analysis, interviewing, process mapping, etc.).
  • Work with business teams, vendor representatives and technology teams to ensure that the requirements support the delivery of appropriate solutions to the business.
  • Work with third party vendors on various implementations and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Meet with Subject Matter Experts from the business to clarify understanding of business requirements and document these in the Business Requirements Document (BRD) needed for the Technology teams
  • Achieve consensus and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders on the requirements documents. Ensure that changes to requirements are understood, agreed to and fully documented.
  • Consult with the development and production support teams as needed, providing requirements knowledge and subject matter expertise to the teams performing these functions.
  • Follow process and documentation standards and best practices to produce deliverables. Continuously improve subject matter expertise in the business areas being supported.
  • Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test scripts, engaging the proper testers, providing training, documenting issues and risks, and collaborate with technology on the necessary fixes and/or enhancements prior to sign off and deployment.
  • Organize deployment activities together with technology and project team
  • Monitor and Control all steps of the project, including post implementation roll outs

Qualifications: • Demonstrated leadership in project management and business analysis rolePreferred candidate will have PMP or BA certificationExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Results oriented • Flexible, adaptable, responsive, positive • Service Excellence mindset6-10 years’ experience in successfully supporting the project management function.Proficient MS Office, Visio, etc.Strong analytical skills • Solid facilitation and collaboration skills.Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management.Individual should be analytical, flexible, team oriented, have good interpersonal, communication, and follow up skills with strong attention to details.Experience in working with groups that are diverse and spread over a wide geographic area.Ability to quickly learn and obtain a solid understanding of the business processes, techniques and systems commonly used in managing the legal function.Solid problem-solving ability, go getter attitude
