Job Description: SMCI is seeking a passionate Senior-Level .NET Engineer who will be dedicated to the development of a enterprise web applications - utilizing CI/CD pipelines , tools, guidelines within a Microsoft .NET environment. The Sr .NET Engineer is responsible for the overall quality and efficiency of the development team, capable to future management of CI/CD pipelines and installing DevOps practices. This Sr Developer will be supporting a growing organization, who is also a front-runner and leader of their Industry-sector. This will be a full-time employment opportunity located near Tampa, FL. Day to Day: - API and system features to enhance/improve load times - Analyze current features and improve code complications - Work on database calls/read/writes to eliminate duplicate API calls - Automation for repetitive tasks is required - Take current regressions and improve/fix/optimize - Continuously improve any feature set assigned Responsibilities: • Full-stack software support of .NET Core MVC applications using the Microsoft development (C#, SQL Server) • Support tools integration/ operations/ release management, and testing. • Support full automation of CI/ Testing and internal application support • Utilizing best practices and standards for governance and release engineering • Middle tier and backend development with Web Services (REST, WCF, Web API) and SQL Server • Deliver clean, maintainable code and documentation • Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards • Participate in peer code reviews and provide guidance to team of developers. • Be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once. • JavaScript, TypeScript, and other JavaScript-based tools are a plus • Provide mentorship to Junior and Mid-level Developers Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline. • 4+ years' experience in Test Automation Development in SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role. • Development background with JavaScript, C#, JScript, VB Script. • Source control tools such as GIT • Use of SQL and databases. • Scripting experience with GUI test automation tools. Preferred: Building out CI/CD environments from the Development perspective
