SOURCING ASSOCIATE: HR AND CONSULTING SERVICESTAMPA, FL Project Description

  • Understand the Professional Services (PS), Consulting and Human Resource (HR) business requirements and translate them into effectively leading sourcing initiatives including Requests for (Proposals, Information, Solutions etc. (RFXs), PS Agreement execution, the execution of Master Services Agreements (MSA), and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and ideation that will enable the Business Partner, Category and Functional Leads to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage sourcing projects in support of business requirements and expected business outcomes.
  • Business partnering with Global Procurement and other functional areas, e.g., Legal, HR, Software Asset Management, and Finance, globally.
  • Extensive interaction with Business Partners is required to ensure that strategies, objectives, total costs are aligned, and optimal savings are realized in the execution of contracts.
  • Strategy Development - Support the development of Finance Professional Services category and subcategory strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation and Development - ability to negotiate and draft Commercial Terms and defend Legal Terms on standard internal template agreements for Professional Services, Consulting and Human Resourcing engagements
  • Build, maintain and enhance relationships with leading Professional Services, Consulting, HR firms and internal stakeholders.
  • Leads in the development and evaluation of supplier Requests for Information/Proposal/Solution (RFx's) including ensuring comprehensive requirements and specifications, pricing models and contract terms are included.
  • Lead and manage the full RFx process from RFx development through contract execution.
  • Evaluate competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for goods or services.
  • Negotiate and/or issue contracts, amendments, and attachments obtaining legal review and approval of a contract when required.
  • Facilitate and lead appropriate contracting processes from proof of concept to award/supplier selection.
  • Manages multiple, complex projects independently.
  • Aligns Procurement goals with client's business objectives.
  • Apply appropriate business analytics to review proposals and provide accurate financial comparisons of business proposals.
  • Drive sustainable/substantial cost savings and value beyond savings for the PS, Consulting and HR categories.
  • Utilize e-Procurement tools (Ariba) to manage sourcing projects.
  • Operate as trusted advisor by providing procurement insights and subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 5+ years of proven and extensive end-to-end procurement, sourcing, contract management, contract negotiations, category, and supplier management experience in the Financial Services category domain.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Financial Services strategies, norms, and practices.
  • Experience in evaluating the market, assessing suppliers, contracting and critical financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to review and evaluate quantitative and qualitative data and provide/present strategic insights and recommendations in a clear and concise, summarized fashion.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and manage internal stakeholders at all levels within a highly matrixed organization, working across cross-functional, cross-organizational teams.
  • Experience negotiating with top tier Finance suppliers (especially "Big 4 consulting firms) in a large global organization.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple projects while promoting compliance, supporting risk management, and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to lead and/or support a variety of sourcing, strategic category plans and other innovative and value capture initiatives.

  • Master's degree.

  • A proactive, creative, and analytical approach to challenges.
  • Demonstrated high degree of independence, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner, manage and influence.
  • Ability to demonstrate both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need and/or defending a position/decision.
