Job Description:
  • Technical PM (Pref for API experience)
  • The client Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization provides global operations support to client businesses in the areas of Data Center, Mainframe, Distributed Systems, Cloud Solutions, Network, Client Computing, Site Support and Telecommunication systems.
  • The Client Program Management team (PPM) provides services across client Technology Infrastructure to ensure business technology projects are executed successfully, meet business requirements, and are delivered on-time and on-budget.
  • The successful candidate could be responsible for delivering projects in one or more of the following areas: End-user product rollouts; risk and control, change management, infrastructure implementations, office location strategies and various cloud migrations.
  • The role is governed by global project management, following Client's internal project management methodology and has standard tools and processes to follow with support and oversight provided by the Project Office.

Specific Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects related to: Monitoring and Logging, Application Inventory and Lifecycle Management, Estate Optimization and Reporting, Pipeline Services, Provisioning and Experience, API Enablement and Languages and Frameworks
  • Facilitate technical development and design as needed including but not limited to architectural reviews, compliance reviews and various project artifacts (Software Development Life Cycle - SDLC)
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and cross functional teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Enable and facilitate Book of Work prioritization or Backlog Grooming with product owners or stakeholders, taking into account dependencies, funding and risk-assessment.
  • Adhere to and reinforce Project and Program Management framework, artifacts and governance
  • Maintain internal system of record to support accurate and timely project details for audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage Jira for workflow management and Confluence for transparent reporting to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, assess, communicate, monitor, control and mitigate risks.
  • Stay informed of risks facing the firm and identify ways team can improve overall Safety and Soundness for the organization.
  • Identify and address pain points, road blocks and root causes through problem solving, solutioning and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with and influence cross functional and regional partners and vendors.
  • Identify and manage delivery of critical milestones. Escalate any risks of slippage to senior sponsors.
  • Manage scope changes - assess impacts including: cost, resource needs and timing. solicit and receive appropriate sponsor and manager approval for changes

  • Enhance existing project management capabilities through training, mentoring, shadowing and coaching.
  • Apply most applicable project management methodology to each project (e.g., Agile, Kanban, Waterfall)

  • Ability to track and report quantified progress to senior management or stakeholders
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn a foundational level of knowledge in new technologies, products or businesses client may support.
  • Expert planning and strong project financial management skills with ability to make data driven decisions.
  • Have a positive, does-what-it-takes attitude to drive success and provide value for the client.

Education or Knowledge:
  • Minimum of 7 years of successfully managing and delivering global programs
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields: Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, or Analytical / Tech Management - Required
  • PMP Certification in Project Management - Preferred
  • Scrum Master or relevant Agile Certification - Preferred
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS project, ServiceNow, PlanView, Jira, and SharePoint - Preferred
  • Experience with ITIL, CMDB, ServiceNow, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps - Preferred
