The Equity Compensation Product Manager/Systems Ops Sr Manager accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.Responsibilities:

Responsible for a team of reports (direct, matrix or a combination of both), including a combination of Managers, Analysts supporting the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Develop talent and teams for Citi by hiring and retaining exceptional talent through good hiring decisions, transparency, recognition and promotion of talent based on meritocracy.

Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly data feeds and integrations between the deferred comp administration system and various other applications (i.e. Workday, payroll, finance, accounting, global data warehouse, etc.)

Accountable for the team maintaining service level agreements, process improvement and related to service delivery support and for systems project implementations, both on time and on budget, while meeting or exceeding expectations.

Skilled at writing Business Requirement Documents

Thorough understanding of equity compensation plans and administration practices

Oversee and provide direction to direct reports in day to day systems operations and functional teams. –

Develop strategic relationships with partners for the planning and implementation of new deferred compensation administration platform.

Drive performance improvement and develop appropriate succession planning, through resource and staffing plans, work priorities, development plans and effective feedback mechanisms. –

Promote and ensure all processes and procedures are performed and documented within all regulatory requirements and Citi’s corporate policies and guidelines. –

Represent team in strategic, operational and tactical meetings providing feedback, direction and follow up ensuring that accurate and detailed information is available when business will evolve.

Maintain effective partnerships and influence with team, peers and project staff through an inclusive style with the recognition and acceptance of their abilities, knowledge and conflicting priorities. –

Adherence to all applicable laws, compliance and reporting requirements. en required. –

Utilize effective planning, change management and communication for processes, procedures, projects for Business, Department and Corporate initiatives.

Qualifications:

6-10 years relevant experience

Project Management experience or consulting background.

Deep understanding of HR processes, Shared Services disciplines and SDLC in large multinational institutions. Ability to influence at senior levels and effect change in a large, diverse, multicultural organization. Exceptional communication and facilitation

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, always displaying an understanding of the needs and perspectives of others and recognizing and respecting the value of a diverse workforce. - Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts, with a passion for coaching and guiding a team of associates. -

In depth knowledge of stock plan administration platforms and services

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
