The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be highly motivated and have a demonstrated ability to perform under strict deadlines with the goal of aggressively moving our litigation docket forward. Prior experience in Personal Injury. Experience as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal is strongly preferred.
Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Knowledge of the FL rules of Civil Procedures and Statutes
- Proficiency drafting and responding to discovery
- Proficiency with e-filing through the courts
- Experience drafting motions, pleadings, affidavits, etc.
- Possess the ability to multitask
- Experience in bates numbering and redacting
- Ability to prepare for mediations and trials
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and Total Office
- Ability to work efficiently in an extremely fast paced environment with strict deadlines
- Exemplary tenure with previous employers and must pass a criminal background check
