looking for a home decorator to decorate homes for my customers.
Looking for someone that knows how to decorate and sell at the same time. Im not really concerned about collecting a decorating fee from my customers I just need this person to be able to decorate and also have the people skills to be able to up sell the customer to purchase more. this is very different than what I traditionally do at my store. this person will be making visits to homes and offices to help the customer decorate. the ideal customer for this line of work will be for medium to high end customers.
you must:
have EXPERIENCE in decorating and design.
have taste and style. Be able to know what "look" the customer is trying to get for their home.
have people skills
clean criminal record
can pass a drug test.
be willing and able to drive to customers in the Tampa Bay area
be loyal
be passionate about your work
I have never done this in my store before, and it is in the testing phase. The pay is going to be on a per job basis and not salary, 10% of sales. I will promote the service in my store, and the work will be forwarded to you. We have plenty of sources we can get our furniture from that you can use. I think there are more details that need to be ironed out, but maybe with your experience we can share ideas.
