Seeking Assemblers in the St. Petersburg/ Clearwater Area
Description
- This company is a large national company that manufactures medical devices such as pumps and monitors for kidney dialysis.
- The facility does not manufacture them but refurbishes the devices when they need any type of maintenance or repair.
Positions
Mechanical assembler
1st shift
2nd shift
Receives device, sanitizes it with wipe then runs it through a UV machine, uses basic hand tools to take the device apart, troubleshoots for errors, makes mechanical repairs such as changing out parts, puts it back together.
Electrical assembler
1st shift
2nd shift
Troubleshoots for errors then solders, crimps, rewires electrical components of the device then hooks it up to testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to test functionality.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer and math skills required. Ability to read diagrams, drawings and follow work instructions within established guidelines.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a routine basis.
- 2+ years of experience in production (assembly, machine operation, etc.)
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 3 years of related experience required.
Work Environment
1st shift 7am - 330pm
2nd shift - 3:30 - Midnight
