  • CBCM Data Recovery Testing Coordinator C13
  • Client's Business Continuity Management (CBCM) organization within Enterprise Resiliency (ER) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Continuity of Business (CoB) Data Recovery Testing Coordinator.
  • The CoB Data Recovery Testing Coordinator is responsible to work with sector application teams and CTI stakeholders to support Data Recovery Program.
  • The CoB Data Recovery coordinator works with the technology teams to ensure the data recovery assessments are validated, tests and tabletops are planned, documented, and executed for the critical business technology, according to COB policies and standards.
  • Manage escalations of potential issues, tracking remediation to completion.
  • Working off hours and weekends will be required to support activities for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as team representative within CBCM providing support and oversight within Data Recovery Program.
  • Partners with the CBCM leadership and central teams to maintain a calendar of activities to ensure a timely completion of all policy requirements.
  • Provide leadership and coordination for the entire recovery process before, during and after the testing life cycle.
  • Must be able to work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus on decisions that are right for the organization.
  • Collaborates to gather information internal and external to the organization to help guide business recommendations for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Advises the technology businesses on CBCM strategy, policy requirements and preferred practices.
  • Will have knowledge of organizational controls, tracking and monitoring requirements, ensuring risks are reported and escalated to Risk and Control Leads when gaps in performance and associated risks are identified.
  • Recommends Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and / or Risk Exceptions (REs).
  • Promotes Business Continuity training and awareness.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in technology, business, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years related Financial Services or Banking experience, IT, DR, or similar environments (Finance, Risk, Control background)
  • Must have U.S work authorization (this position is not sponsoring visas).
  • An expert level understanding of database frameworks, different OS recovery procedures, structure languages, file structures and systems, experience with database servers, knowledge of IT security best practice, experience to recover data from computer storage devices, software, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • 5 years' experience managing multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills
  • Soft skills proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Track record as a strong analyst and recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.
  • Ability to work across levels of personnel from end users to senior management.
  • Desired nationally recognized Business Continuity certification, i.e CBCP, MBCP.
