Overview: As a Test Analyst/Automation Tester, you will be part of the CTO Global Testing Center of Excellence team and you will help deliver the Defender-Host Isolation project across our company's Network of firms. You will work with the Test Manager to set the direction and establish the approach for test planning, design, building, and integrating testing services and provider systems. You have significant QA experience for Windows Security Agents, specifically MS Defender. You already have technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and understand the SDLC development methodology. Your role will particularly be to: Identifying, building, and implementing standardized testing environments, solutions, and platforms for use across a varied technology ecosystem.Automation test design and implementation across multiple endpoint and infrastructure technologies.Working with Product Owners and engineers to review and validate understanding of customer requirements and translate initial scope into technical deliverables.Evaluating, planning and designing technical 'end to end' solutions with a global mindset and a region and/or territorial view for Next Gen Endpoint Security.Troubleshooting complex incidents in testing solution environments.Proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities for test defects and reported issues.Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and perform knowledge transfer to others.Support Test Manager and Project Team on refinement of Test Scope, Estimates and PlansCoordinate elicitation of test requirements across work streams, dependent applications, and initiativesPerform security and functional testing and ensure complete coverage of test casesOversee testing and resultsProvide regular reports on Test progress to Test Manager Requirements:This role works with client facing applications in collaboration with client service staff and involves recommendations for application optimization.Knowledge with the SDLC activities expected to develop custom developed and packaged applications with exposure to all types of testing (Unit, System, Integration, Performance, Security, etc.) is required.Experience in Agile development, experience with Team Foundation Server, including entering User Stories, Bugs, Enhancements, Burndown, and working with offshore resources.Strong test management skills and a thorough understanding of testing and analysis deliverables (including UML artifacts and how they relate to the development process).Strong technology acumen and track record of hands-on implementations across multiple technologies.Experience using modern testing tools required (ex. Quality Center, Load Runner, etc.).Ability to translate technical data and concepts into actionable testing approaches.Strong background in implementing enterprise initiatives on a large scale.Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or 5 yrs IT experience
Skills Required:Hands-on experience with security and functionality testing.Experience in Pester/PowerShell, UIPath Studio.Strong technical skills and experience with automated testing.Good knowledge Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing process and methodologiesGood understanding of Windows Security stack and MS Defender.Problem solving and analytical skills strong especially for defects analysis and reportsThey need to be able to create a test plan, test cases and test scriptsPossess excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skillsWith a sharp analytical capacity for detailHistory of successful project completion working in a team; team playerAbility to multitaskGood time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlinesExperience with G-Suite.
