BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Business Data analyst - Tampa, FL - REMOTE Title: Business Data analyst Location: Tampa, FL Duration: 6+ Months (Expected) Job description: Top 3 skills: 1. Strong analytical background - data analysis, business analysis 2. Project management experience, preferably working with data analytics products/solutions 3. Excellent communication and presentation skills. The Project Analyst provides strategic support associated with the RCCE practice, including project management in key data analytics initiatives of Casualty claim related information, preparation of preliminary reports of findings, working directly with a team of Senior Level Consultants and Senior Management on specific client data and general analytics projects. The Project Analyst also works closely with client's Development and AGRCs Data Analytics teams to manage client product and deliverables enhancements and improve existing processes through the use of technology and project management best practices. Position Responsibilities/Main Functions: Complete detailed analysis to uncover issues, opportunities and solutions for the business teams. Assist the business teams define and document requirements for new initiatives and enhancements. Project planning & monitoring. Track timelines, milestones completion, document project progress, risks and issues. Prepare/review/maintain project documentation and reports for various stakeholders. Apply project management standards, best practices and use project data to guide optimal project performance. Respond accordingly to data analysis requests that are urgent in nature. Derive insights from large, complex data sets Create ad-hoc data reports Stay current with emerging, new innovative data analytics techniques to recommend and introduce, as appropriate, in existing processes or deliverables. Participate in strategic initiatives related to innovation and process improvements Skills: Required skills: Strong analytical background data analysis, business analysis, processes and procedures analysis. Experience in project management with commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) project management software and tools. Knowledgeable in all phases of the project management life cycle. Strong computer skills and experience with business software programs. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Extremely detail oriented. Good interpersonal and organizational skills.Minimum education/experience required: Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus on business administration finance, data analytics related fields Experience in product/project management for data and analytics solutions. Project management certification a plus.
