Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Data Analyst for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities :
- Perform analysis to define problems, develop innovative solutions, streamline operational processes, and expand Operations capabilities by introducing new tools and technologies.
- Maintain knowledge of the firm's operational procedures, best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements in order to provide customized business solution recommendations to internal clients.
- Perform production configuration changes adhering to internal configuration standards and change management process.
- Work with operations team to identify and implement various data quality rules and standards as defined by the firms Data Management Policy.
- Perform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflow.
- Work collaboratively with Business stakeholders and other team members to document Business/Functional requirements and translate into technical specifications.
- Create presentations to describe ideas and conceptual design to business stakeholders and senior managers.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the firm, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 6-10 years of experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of business and technical personnel
- Exhibit strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Experience implementing and managing SaaS platform like SAP Fieldglass and TIBCO middleware
- Hands on SQL experience
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience implementing tools and technologies in Contingent workforce domain is a plus.
- Master's degree preferred
