Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Technical Architect for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities :
- Key member of firm's cloud transformation team providing technical leadership and guidance to multiple projects.
- Technical position for someone who can dive deep into complex application architecture, build cloud-optimized design, develop migration strategies, recommend Cloud Native Service solutions, author reference architecture artifacts and influence technology roadmaps by working closely with firm Engineers and partner Architects.
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 6+ years of progressive Technical or Application Architect role
- Experience with client/server enterprise java j2EE web application and microservice application design
- Experience with containers (Openshift Platform/Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with Cloud transformation and application modernization
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud Computing platforms (AWS or GCP)
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and security patterns
- Experience with security solutions authentication, entitlements, encryption, MFA, Federation
- Experience in systems scalability and performance optimization
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and a decision maker
- Great communication and teamwork skills; must be able to work effectively with others within and across departments
- Certified AWS or Google Solution Architect
- Ability to develop prototypes for proving out new technology solutions
- Knowledge of continuous development and integration tools
- Knowledge of Big data stack is a plus such as Elasticsearch, Hadoop, HDFS, Kafka
