Coastal Mechanical, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Southeast, is currently seeking a Pipe fitter/Welding Superintendent to work on large commercial projects in the Tampa area. Work is mainly for hospitals, schools, Universities and Government facilities.
Requirements and responsibilities:
5-8 years’ experience in copper and pipe welding
Must be able and willing to assist pipe fitters in preparation of weldments.
Have experience supervising others
ICRA and OSHA 30
Must be knowledgeable of all fitting take outs for screw and weld fittings.
Must be experienced with screw pipe and weld pipe.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Must have ability to install copper piping to reheats and FCUs.
Victaulic experience is preferred.
Sprinkler fitters encouraged to apply.
Follow safety procedures
Background checks, motor vehicle checks, drug screening performed
Position may include constant walking/standing, lifting/pulling, climbing ladders and outside work with weather conditions.
This is not a per diem position.

Salary Range Approximately: $30-$38 per hour depending upon experience
