Excellent creative opportunity for a graphic designer who is responsible, well-organized, and looking for a career, not just a job, for an established, proven visitor publication. This is a key position creating and producing the Welcome Guide-Map and Discover Downtown Guide & Map.

Employment experience as a Graphic Designer. (2+ years)

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat & Dreamweaver. (2+ years)

This is a come-to-work-every-day and be part of the team position. Our office is conveniently located in mid-county Pinellas near Park Blvd and 49th St.

Compensation is $14-$18 /hour with benefits. Compensation is based on your knowledge and experience.

- Top applicants will be given a design test using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Acrobat.

List of required skills:

Must be proficient and have a minimum 5+ years’ experience in Adobe CC - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat & Dreamweaver.

Mac OS X Platform.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Excel, Word.

A high degree of creativity and understanding of print and web design principles.

Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.

Ability to multitask and stay organized while working under pressure.

Must be detail oriented with the ability to proof your own work.

Have a strong sense of urgency and time management to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines while working with sales managers that are in the field.

Have a great work ethic and take initiative by using best practices, industry knowledge and team feedback.

Someone who genuinely cares about their work and has a go-getter attitude with the desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Create and design new ads for target market.

Update and edit existing ads.

Uploading and refreshing web sites with new creative editorial and visual content which includes light html and css coding in Dreamweaver.

Creation and modification of area maps using Illustrator and InDesign.

Design promotional materials.

Research and collect data and images for print and web.

Coordinate and communicate with sales managers to make sure deadlines are met and materials received.

Fact and proof checking for spelling and grammar errors.

There are also administrative responsibilities that are required: Tracking incoming & outgoing art, approvals, digital assets, paperwork & and other administrative dutiesso, organizational skills are required.
