Due to a rapidly growing demand for our services, Marketopia has a Senior Web and Graphic Designer position open in our Clearwater office. This individual will work directly for the Visual Design Manager to conceptualize and develop a variety of digital and print marketing deliverables for both our internal use and our clients.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advise and discuss creative initiatives with clients
Be a representative of the visual design team in internal and external meetings
Design and develop websites
Design and implement new features and functionality
Design webpage layouts
Employ best practices in web design
Control quality and verify that all web pages are responsive on popular web browsers, platforms, and devices
Integrate and update content
Modify/edit/debug HTML and CSS
Concept and develop marketing collateral, inclusive of websites, landing pages, emails, e-newsletters, logos, brand identities, infographics, sell sheets, eBooks, interactive PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, print ads, postcards and other collateral as needed
SKILLS AND BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
A strong online portfolio is a must
A collaborative approach in our fast-paced environment
Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Should be able to deliver ideas and decisions in a professional manner
A great work ethic with a desire to learn and grow
Possesses an enthusiastic and energetic attitude towards visual design
Must be able to work effectively and cross-functionally across all teams and departments
At least 4 years of experience in the design industry
At least 2 years of experience using WordPress
Fundamentals of design imaging, color theory, UI interactions
Strong knowledge of typography
Strong attention to detail
Strong understanding of HTML/CSS
JavaScript knowledge preferred but not required
HubSpot development knowledge preferred but not required
Strong understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome inspector
Mac user preferred
