Senior Cloud Automation / Devops Engineer at Multiple locations (hybrid) for one of our esteemed clients. - Four or more years of DevSecOps experience or infrastructure experience.
- Python, Django, HTML, jQuery, Bash scripting experience.
- AWS SDK and CLI experience.
- JSON CloudFormation & Terraform experience.
- Linux and Windows System Administration experience.
- Cloud Networking and Security Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, Confluence.
- Basic DB and SQL experience
- AWS Certified Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer or Security Specialty Certifications.
- Ability to understand Architecture patterns & knowledge of Well Architected Frameworks.
- Strong Development experience with Python, Shell Scripting & boto3 including AWS services (e.g., EC2, EBS, RDS, Snapshot, DLM, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Programming experience leveraging S3, EC2, Cloud Formation, VPC, RDS and other AWS services.
- Excellent DevOps skills in using a wide variety of tools, frameworks, platforms and automation
- Experience for automating cloud operational tasks by writing policies, scripts and jobs.
- Development experience with MySQL tables, procedures and functions.
- Core experience and knowledge on Cloud Governance practices and frameworks.
- 3+ years in building cloud platform architecture solutions on public and/or private cloud platforms with an emphasis towards governance/security tools.
- In depth hands-on knowledge on Governance frameworks and services - AWS IAM, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch, AWS Config to implement controls (e.g., Security Groups, Network ACLs, etc.).
- Strong hands-on knowledge in core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, AWS Lambda, CLI etc.) and familiarity with AWS network services.
- Solid experience with Data Migration and Backup Solutions using S3, DLM.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and services in other cloud platforms like Azure, OCI and Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong scripting using CloudFormation and Jenkins to automate the build, test, package & deployment of function(s) & configuration. Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS Lambda Functions.
- AWS Professional Certification is an advantage.
- Experience in infrastructure and Cloud services with proficiency in automation using Python, Boto3, Unix Shell and other scripting languages.
- Experience with modern source control repositories (e.g. Git) and DevOps toolsets (Jenkins / Ansible) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Development experience with MySQL tables, queries, procedures and functions.
- AWS Certified Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer or Security Specialty Certifications.
