Do it here.What you’ll be doingThe AI&D organization at Verizon focuses on delivering the power of data and AI to drive our marketplace leadership through innovative solutions that create value for our customers, shareholders, V teamers and society, responsibly.The AI and Data Enablement team helps Verizon business units solve key business challenges using AI and Data solutions.We have an exciting new position of a Technical Project Manager to join our transformational group where you will facilitate the development of these solutions with numerous different partners.Coordinate the efforts across the Artificial Intelligence and Data (AI&D) teams to create and manage project roadmaps, delivery schedules, roles and responsibilities.

Ensure execution of said plan all the way through delivery, and be accountable to providing status updates, identify risk/challenges, and working to resolve them.

Create project plans with input from various cross functional team members and ensure execution based on the project plan.

Host working team sessions to identify next steps and capture expected completion dates and status updates. Work with various cross functional teams who are committed to delivering AI solutions that will fuel Verizon’s growth.

Work directly with both technical teams and business sponsors to ensure that requirements, objectives, and timelines are clear and understood by all parties.

Identify obstacles and roadblocks and proactively develop approaches to overcome them.

Develop frameworks and approaches to achieve project deliverables.

Assist with the documentation of Verizon’s end to end processes in an effort to eliminate waste reduction and/or revenue growth opportunities.

Leverage change management best practices to mitigate resistance.

What we’re looking forYou’ll need to have:Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Experience with Project Management.

Willingness to travel up to 25% or less.

Even better if you have:Experience with a tier 1 management consulting organization.

Facilitation, training and coaching experience.

Experience with Change Management best practices.

Proven record of successfully managing client relationships.

Communication skills, with the ability to summarize key insights from analyses in presentations and written communications to key clients.

Quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong business acumen.

Ability to work independently with a high degree of comfort working in an unstructured and ambiguous environment.

Experience contributing to multiple simultaneous projects

Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking and/or Agile certification.

MBA or PMP Certification.
