We are looking for someone whose interested in a work trade position located in the beautiful state of Hawaii.
We are firstly a Tortoise and Bird Refuge that has evolved into a quaint busy vacation rental / located within steps from the beaches of Maui.
This is a work trade position for a housekeeper and also a groundskeeper.
The housekeeper position NOW must have:
-customer service experience
-hospitality experience
-housekeeping experience
-love and care for animals
The groundskeeper position must have:
-basic gardening knowledge
-organization skills
-determination to complete tasks
-love and care for animals
This is a 3 month commitment to our refuge and our visiting guests.
An average days starts at 645am, feeding the animals and cleaning the common areas indoors and outdoors. There is a lot of animals but lots time to rest, breaks, Beaches.
This job is NOT for everyone. This is co-ed staff that shares a room with 2 living cockatoos.
Our animals comes first and they are our priority. PLUS our guests, lol. We are looking for someone to help with caring for animals while caring for the space and land we share here. Best of all we live at one of best beaches on Maui.
